Coming up for our class in the spring, we have both of our Special Olympics meets (qualifying meet at Harrisburg on March 30th and the Special Olympics meet at Messiah on April 12), our spring art show (date TBD), and the community yard sale (sometime in May). I will give you all more details as these events get closer.

St. Patrick's Day & Upcoming Activities
We were invited by students in the German Club to participate in some St. Patrick's Day festivities. We made shirts, had snacks and socialized. Yesterday, we played a "getting to know you" social group game outside. Everyone did really well meeting new friends and socializing with each other appropriately. We look forward to more activities with this group of students in the future. Students - What was your favorite part of this activity? Why?

I really liked playing the game in a circle where they asked me if I could get to know the names and faces of people in the German Club.
ReplyDeleteI visited Heidelberg, Germany a few years ago. It was a lot of fun.
DeleteMy favorite part was playing games because I took a turn in the raise your hand game.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part was wearing the shirts yesterday because it was so colorful. My favorite part wearing green shirts in school.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite part of this activity was that I arrived just in time from work to play
