Work Placements Started!

This week, we started our community job placements.  Community businesses include Babe's Grill House, Pronio's Market, Central PA Food Bank, Sandi's Breads Bakery, Love Inc, Derry Preschool, and the Derry Township District Office.  We were very proud of how well everyone did! We will post more pictures next week, so check back in! In the comment thread, can everyone please share what they did at their work placements this week and what they liked about it?

    At Babe's, I cleaned tables, I set tables, I put chairs down, and washed dishes. I like it because it is not stressful and crowded.

    At Sandi's Breads, I was putting stickers on packages. I like it because it is not too hard to remember what to do.

    I worked at Love Inc. In Love Inc I cleaned the floor, did the laundry, and washed the sink. My favorite part of Love Inc is doing the laundry. I also wiped the table and the chairs.

    I stocked cans of soup and bags of cereal. I folded clothes. I liked the folding part.
