Eating with the Season in FCS!

Today in FCS class, we learned about preparing corn on the cob.  We talked about grilling it with the husk on and cooking it in a pot of boiling water.  We also discussed WHY Mrs. White chose to prepare corn on the cob...because it is best to eat foods when they are in season.  Can you remember WHAT we put in the water with the corn on the cob to give it more flavor?  Did you like this "recipe" today?

  2. Yes, we heated the corn. We squeezed the lemon and poured in the sugar. I liked the taste of it.

  4. We put sugar and lemon in the water . I liked the taste with the lemon and sugar because when I squeezed the lemon, The lemon got on my hands and it smelled really good. I liked the corn when it is off the cob and covered in butter.
