Functional Math with Kahoot!

We have started our new math curriculum in conjunction with a new web-based tool called Kahoot.  Kahoot is an online quizzing/polling tool that has a game show format.  We used it today to review some of our vocabulary from common word problems.  We discussed when to use what operations in a functional, everyday word problem.  For example, when figuring out how much change you get back you should use subtraction.  Everyone had fun using different names for themselves - Cartman and Peter Griffin both made an appearance today! What do you like about this web-based tool? Would you want to use it again? Why or why not?

  2. I like this website because it is easier than writing on paper. I would like to use Kahoot again because I like to make the different names. It is fun to compete with my friends.
